Sidewalks of Historic Downtown

Bearfootin in Downtown Hendersonville has been a very popular public art display. The bears are sponsored by area businesses and are colorfully decorated in different themes by area artists. The bears reside on the sidewalks of Downtown, along with trees, planters of flowers, and benches in a beautiful park-like setting. This successful exhibit has entertained people of all ages.

A public auction of the bears will be held October 20th. Proceeds from the auctions goes to charities. The exhibit started in 2003 and has raised a considerable amount of money for charities.
